OM System
& Olympus

OM System - OM-1 MK I
The last camera to bear the name Olympus from the OM System takeover.
I love this camera, and I also loved using the original OM-1 35mm camera back in the day!
This camera is packed with lots of innovative functions, and produces amazing high resolution 80mp and 50mp landscape photos.

Olympus - OM-D E1 MK II
This camera has taken many of the images on this website. It is still a dream to use, but since getting the OM-1 it spends most of the time in it's bag cave.
But I do have some trips planned in the future where I will need a second DSLR body.

Olympus - PEN-F
The technology built into this camera when it was realeased was amazin, and with it's rtetro look the camera still turns heads today. Although I use this camera for street photography, I sometimes take it on hiking trips where I want to travel light. I have also created many color profiles that mimic some of the old 35mm film types, and they work and look great!
I would love to see a MKII of this camera with better video capabilities to the MK I.

Olympus - TG-6
This is a really underestimated camera, and I take this camera on skiing and hiking trips when bad weather is forcast, it is built like a tank, and shooting in raw produces great quality images. It's also waterproof, drop proof, and can record GPS data which is sometimes very useful when I am prodicing videos with motion location maps.

Olympus Tracker
I do not use this action camera so much now, but it's still in my useable collection, and the great thing is that it shares the same battery type as the TG-6.
It also comes with a very useful foldable pistol type grip, and once when I was travelling in the U.S. with this camera, I was stopped at security as they thought I had a gun in my check-in luggage.

M.Zuiko ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO
This is my goto wide angle landscape and interior lens. Super high quality optics and great sharpness. It is already packed for my up and coming trip to Scotland.

M.Zuiko ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO II
I have just purchased this lens for winter hiking in China for landscape photography. It's size and weight are perfect for such activities Samples to follow shortly.

M.Zuiko ED 12-100mm 1:4 IS PRO
This lens is my goto everyday walkabout lens. With it's weather sealing makes this lens a perfect comanion for either the OM-a or OM-D cameras in adverse weather conditions.

M.Zuiko ED 12-200mm F3.5-6.3
I use this lens when I travel to places where I only want to take one camera and one lens. With the 200mm zoom range it allows for that bit extra reach over the 12-100, and I usually pair it with my Olympus PEN-F camera.

M.ZUIKO 17mm 1:1.8
This is a nice prime lens that prodices nice BOKEH (depth-of-field). It's very small but looks great on the PEN-F.
This lens is also great for video pieces.

M.ZUIKO 17mm 1:2.8 Pancake
This is a fun lens to use, but I must admit, it does not get much use nowadays due to all of the other lenses I own. It spends most of it's time in the OM-D bag cave.

M.ZUIKO ED 25mm 1:1.2 PRO
This 25mm lens is one of my favorite prime lenses. With it's 50mm equivalent focal length makes it great for strret and portrait photography.

M.Zuiko ED 150-600mm F5.0-6.3 IS
This lens is the latest edition to my collection, and what a beast of a lens it is. It has amazing zoom focal length, and built-in lens stabilization that when coupled with either the OM-1 or OM-D bodies allows for several stops of dynamic range, handheld.
I am waiting to shake-down this lens on my next wildlife trip, it can take great shots of the moon when coupled with the MC-20 teleconverter.

M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm 1:2.8 PRO
This lens is very well made and produces wonderful images. I have used this lens on many of my Great Wall of China hikes, and ikt never fails to deliver.

M.Zuiko ED 60mm F2.8 Macro
I am still yet to master the art of macro photography, at the moment I seem to have more success with my iPhone 15 Pro Max macro shots, but it is a technique I intend to master.

M.ZUIKO ED 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7
I normally use this lens paired with the PEN-F for walk about trips. This lens spends most of it's time at home in the camera bag.

M.ZUIKO 1.4x teleconverter
This 1.4 teleconverter only works with a few of my lenses. The 40-150mm PRO and the newly acquired 150-600mm baby.
I have used it many times with the 40-150, but not so much with the 150-600mm.

M.Zuiko 2x Teleconverter
This 2.0 teleconverter only works with a few of my lenses. The 40-150mm PRO and the newly acquired 150-600mm baby.
I have used it many times with the 40-150, but not so much with the 150-600mm.

FL-50R Flash
Last but not least, the FL-50 flash completes the collection, I also own several non-branded flashes that I share with my other cameras.
