Firstly, I would like to welcome you to PARKERSPIX.COM, and thank you for visiting.
My website acts as a showcase for my photography and digital art creations.
Photography has been a serious hobby of mine for more years than I can remember, and I have previously owned equipment from a number of manufacturers such as Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Fujifilm, Sony, and Olympus now known as OM-System.
However, I have always had a soft spot for Olympus (OM System) equipment from using the original 35mm film Olympus OM-1 and now the digital version OM-1 (MK I), and a number of others in between, please check out the My Life in Cameras link for more details.
I will be shortly opening an online store on my website for the sale of prints, books, and other merchandise.
Note:
The mural above was part of a food complex close to my apartment that has since been demolished, but I was glad to have captured this image before it was taken down. The sad thing is, it was in a location that was not obvious to passers by so very few people knew it existed.

DJI OSMO 360:
Introducing another piece of wonderful tech, the DJI OSMO 360 action camera is now added to my collection. So far the results have been quite impressive but more testing and content generation is needed. This camera will definitely be going on my up and coming Scottish Highland trip in September.

Licenced to Fly:
I am now officially licenced to fly drones in the US, UK and China, and probably several other less bureucratic😃 countries! I am so looking forward to my up and coming trip to Scotland in September.

UP AND COMING TRIPS - OOT and ABOOT Series:
Highland Driving Tour, Scotland - September 17th - OCtober 1st 2025:
In mid September 2025 I will return to Scotland for a self-drive Highland Tour, with the purpose of capturing as much nature and landscape content as possible. On this trip I plan to travel as light as possible, so my setup most likely will consist of the following equipment:
- Olympus OM1 MK I and Zuiko 12-100mm F4 Pro and the Zuiko 7-14mm F2.8 Pro Lenses
- DJI Mini 4 Pro
- Insta360 ACE 2 PRO
- Tripods, additional batteries, filters etc...
I will post an animated route plan shortly, but roughly the plan will be Edinburgh, Oban, Glencoe and surrounding areas, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Eileen Dornie Castle, Isle of Skye tour, Inverness, Pitlochry, St. Andrews, my Scottish Estate at Blairadam in Fife, before returning to Leith and Edinburgh for 3 days to finish visiting the sights missed from last year's trip, and of course some shopping.

Guilin:
Due to the local weather conditions of heavy rain and high humidity, I decided to use my Insta360 Ace 2 Pro and my Insta360 X5. I also used my partners Olympus OMD E-1 MK II with the Zuiko 12-200 mm lens for some shots.
